About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Collections Officer to join our team at Peabody. As a key member of our housing management team, you will play a vital role in supporting residents' practical needs and ensuring the safety of our communities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to residents, responding to their queries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Conduct regular estate, scheme, and property inspections to identify issues and gather feedback to improve services and increase customer satisfaction.
  • Work closely with residents, colleagues, and external partners to resolve complex issues and provide solutions that meet their needs.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with residents, colleagues, and external partners to promote a positive and supportive community environment.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of housing management policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and Peabody's standards.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a customer-facing role, ideally in housing management, preferably within the social housing sector.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with residents, colleagues, and external partners.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach to meet the changing needs of the role.
  • Resilient and positive attitude, with a commitment to delivering high-quality services and supporting residents to achieve their goals.
