Role Overview

As a Mid-Level Architectural Visualisation Artist at The Boundary, you will play a key role in creating photorealistic digital marketing content showcasing proposed buildings, landscapes, interiors, and products. Your work will primarily serve architects and real estate developers, helping them to effectively communicate their visions to clients.

Responsibilities

  • Develop compelling visualisations from client-provided materials, ensuring they align with project objectives and brand guidelines.
  • Collaborate closely with other artists within the studio to refine content, share knowledge, and achieve a cohesive visual style across projects.
  • Utilize advanced rendering engines to produce magazine-quality results, paying meticulous attention to detail and achieving photorealistic accuracy.
  • Incorporate feedback from clients and internal stakeholders, iteratively refining visuals to meet their expectations.
  • Create additional assets such as furniture, props, and textures to enhance the realism and visual impact of your work.
  • Actively participate in learning and development initiatives, staying abreast of industry trends and software advancements. Share your expertise through presentations and workshops within the studio.
  • Contribute to a shared library of assets, ensuring its organization and accessibility for all team members.
  • Establish effective lighting setups and compositions to create visually engaging and impactful scenes.
  • Provide valuable design insights and expertise when required, contributing to the overall creative direction of projects.
  • Lead small-scale projects under the guidance of senior artists, developing your project management skills.
  • Engage in professional communication with clients and design teams, ensuring clear understanding and timely delivery of deliverables.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in designing visual content or graphic layouts, demonstrating a strong understanding of composition and aesthetics.
  • Familiarity with architectural drawings and blueprints, enabling you to interpret technical information effectively.
  • Solid knowledge of texture and shader creation techniques, enhancing the realism and detail of your visuals.
  • Understanding of animation principles, rigging, and anatomy, broadening your creative capabilities.
  • Experience working in a collaborative studio environment, fostering teamwork and communication.
  • Basic understanding of camera operation and principles, contributing to accurate perspective and composition.
  • General knowledge of the architecture industry and its trends, allowing you to stay informed about current practices.
  • A positive and collaborative team player attitude, contributing to a supportive and productive work environment.
  • Proficiency in 3ds Max is essential for this role. Extensive experience with Corona rendering is highly desirable.
