Teaching Personnel is seeking a qualified ESOL Tutor to deliver high-quality English language lessons to students in the East of England, Essex, Greys area.
Job Type:This is a temporary position, with the possibility of becoming permanent in the future.
Primary Industry:Education and Training
Salary:£20 - £30 Per hour
Key Responsibilities:- Plan and deliver engaging and effective ESOL lessons to students
- Assess students' language skills and progress
- Provide constructive feedback to students to support their learning
- Support students in developing their speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills
- Monitor and report on student attendance and performance
- Recognised teaching qualification (e.g. PGCE, CELTA)
- Specialist qualification in teaching English as a Second Language (ESL) or ESOL
Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
Experience:Minimum of 2 years' experience in teaching ESOL to diverse groups of students
Skills and Knowledge:- Strong understanding of language acquisition principles
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs
- Proficiency in using technology to enhance learning
- Work in a learners home, care home or local venue (like a library)
- Interact with students from diverse cultural backgrounds
