Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team. The successful candidate will have experience in managing major infrastructure projects and will be responsible for ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate the preparation of project estimates, tenders, and contracts
- Develop and implement project cost plans and budgets
- Monitor and control project expenditure and ensure that costs are accurately recorded and reported
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure that projects are delivered on time and to the required quality standards
- Identify and mitigate potential project risks and develop strategies to minimize their impact
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- A degree in a relevant field, such as quantity surveying, construction management, or a related discipline
- Proven experience in managing major infrastructure projects, preferably in a civil engineering or construction environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and experience with project management software
