{"Job Title": "Practice Secretary", "Job Summary": "We are seeking a highly organized and efficient Practice Secretary to join our team at The Saxon Spires Practice. As a Practice Secretary, you will play a vital role in supporting our GP team and ensuring the smooth operation of our practice.

Responsibilities:

* Provide administrative support to our GP team, including typing letters, reports, and patient referrals
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including patient information and practice procedures
* Liaise with external agencies, such as hospitals and community services
* Check the generic email address and respond to queries
* Support all grades of staff with general administrative tasks
* Maintain filing and administrative systems to ensure easy access to information
* Receive and initiate telephone calls to facilitate timely and appropriate communications
* Maintain the computer clinic system in an accurate and secure manner

Requirements:

* Good standard of general education, including GCSE English and Maths Grade C and above
* Excellent keyboard/IT skills
* Good spelling and grammar
* Knowledge of Emis Clinical System (desirable)
* Experience of working in a GP Practice (desirable)
