Job Title: Senior Public Affairs Manager Job Summary: The Advocate Group is seeking an experienced Public Affairs professional to join a globally leading FMCG business in West London. As a Senior Public Affairs Manager, you will be responsible for planning and executing the Institutional Affairs programme to build awareness amongst stakeholders of the business' approach to doing business and strengthen reputation with relevant stakeholders, Government, NGOs, etc. Key Responsibilities: * Support the implementation of the Institutional Affairs Programme in the UK & Ireland * Manage all activities to maintain and enhance strategy-focused, result-orientated Government relations at a regional and local level * Interaction and negotiation with the Government on specific issues/topics and Government policy/regulations advocacy * Provide expert guidance on public policies relating to Health & Nutrition, Responsible Marketing, Sustainability, Access to Markets & Trade Requirements: * Expertise on public policies relating to Health & Nutrition in the food industry * Experience in a similar role in in-house/government/trade/agency * Previous time spent working with MPs & Politicians * Knowledgeable and credible, able to command trust and respect from peers * Able to work without bias, putting the interests of the business as first priority About The Advocate Group: The Advocate Group is a leading recruitment partner, based in the UK, to the FMCG and consumer product sectors.
