Senior Ecologist

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Ecologist to join our team at Eden Brown. As a key member of our ecological team, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality ecological assessments and services to our clients.

• Conduct Preliminary Ecological Appraisals, UK Habitat Assessments, and protected species surveys to inform project decisions.
• Work closely with our Landscape Architects to ensure proposals meet Biodiversity Net Gain (BNG) requirements and deliver on wider green infrastructure ambitions.
• Liaise with other disciplines to provide robust and meaningful solutions for biodiversity.
• Author technical reports, including planning submissions and planning condition discharge.
• Manage sub-consultants, organize surveys, and review reports.
• Assist in the preparation of fee proposals, marketing materials, and ecological requirements within tenders.
• Participate in knowledge-share sessions to ensure continuous improvement of industry knowledge and integrate this across projects.
