Job Title: Fire Specialist

Headturner Search is seeking a highly skilled Fire Specialist to join our client's team. As a key member of the construction and development company, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and safety of new build homes.

Job Summary:

The Fire Specialist will be responsible for inspecting and rectifying defects, snags, and finishing issues in new build homes. You will work closely with site managers, contractors, and clients to deliver a flawless final product.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Conduct thorough inspections of new build homes to identify snags and defects.
  2. Perform a wide range of remedial tasks including carpentry, plastering, painting, plumbing, and general finishing.
  3. Liaise with customers, site managers, and subcontractors to communicate progress and manage expectations.
  4. Maintain accurate records of work completed and report on project status.
Requirements:
  1. Strong multi-trade skills (e.g., carpentry, painting, tiling, plumbing).
  2. Keen attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
  3. Valid CSCS card.
  4. Full UK driving license.
Desirable:
  1. Proven experience in a similar remedial or snagging role within the construction or housing industry.
  2. NVQ Level 2 qualified or equivalent preferable.
  3. Fire prevention/resistance certification.
  4. Cherry Picker certification.
