Job Opportunity: Specifications Technologist

Alexander Steele Recruitment is partnering with a leading food manufacturing business to find an experienced Specifications Technologist to join their team on a permanent basis.

What We Offer:

* Competitive salary between £30,000 - £35,000
* Monday – Friday working hours with 1 day per week working from home
* Company pension scheme

Responsibilities:

* Develop and write specifications for new and existing products to meet legal and customer requirements
* Collaborate with suppliers and customers to ensure specifications meet regulatory standards
* Work with cross-functional teams to obtain necessary information for specification development
* Stay up-to-date with local and international food labelling regulations

Requirements:

* 2+ years of experience in a specification technologist role within a food manufacturing environment
* Strong understanding of food ingredient functionality, nutritional analysis, and allergen management
