About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our European Power team in London. As a European Power Analyst, you will be responsible for building and analyzing power market models, writing research on the future of European electricity markets and prices, and working closely with our gas, carbon, and data teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain complex power market models and datasets
  • Conduct regular reports and analysis on short-term and long-term power market trends
  • Collaborate with the power team to develop tools and data streams for analyzing power markets
  • Engage with BNEF clients to help them extract the most value from our products
Requirements
  • Strong quantitative skills and experience in coding with Python (or similar programming language)
  • Strong knowledge of the energy industry and its trends
  • Bachelor's degree in Economics, Business, Finance, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or other quantitative science
  • Up to five years of working experience in the field of energy, either conducting research or working in the wider energy industry
