Music Teacher Job Description

Inspired Education Group is a leading global group of premium schools with a portfolio of over 110 schools spanning six continents. We are seeking a Music Teacher to join our team and teach singing to students from September 2024.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide proper supervision of students during lesson times and ensure they comply with the school's standards of conduct and behavior.
  • Record and maintain a register using SOCS.
  • Provide parents with a written report on students' progress at least once a year.
  • Observe and follow the school's policies and procedures.
Requirements:
  • Ability to motivate and inspire students across different age and ability ranges.
  • Ability to relate well to young people.
  • Ability to build students' musicianship, technique, and confidence.
  • Excellent communication skills - oral and written.
  • Effective IT skills.
  • Excellent teaching skills.
  • An accomplished singer with relevant qualifications and/or professional experience.
  • Experience of teaching instrumental music lessons to prep school age pupils.
  • Knowledge of the ABRSM and other examining boards.
