Company Overview

Michael Page is a leading recruitment agency, and we are currently seeking a highly skilled Head of Finance to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading the financial accounting, financial transactions & credit control and finance systems teams.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Lead the financial accounting, financial transactions & credit control and finance systems teams, including staff management and training.
  2. Plan, prepare and deliver interim and year-end audits and accounts.
  3. Ensure financial control is in compliance with all relevant accounting standards, tax and legislation.
  4. Develop and implement an asset management strategy.
  5. Attend Audit and Risk Committee meetings.
  6. Oversee the National Fraud Initiative.
  7. Develop and deliver the financial systems strategy and system replacement/upgrade plan.
  8. Assist in developing and renewing the long-term financial strategy.
  9. Attend project board meetings as required.

Requirements

A successful Head of Finance should have:

  • Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA).
  • Strong understanding of financial regulations and standards.
