We are currently in search of a committed and skilled Warehouse Operations Supervisor to join our dynamic team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership: Direct and oversee a group of warehouse staff to guarantee smooth operational flow.
- Training & Mentorship: Facilitate training and guidance for new employees, ensuring their successful integration and productivity.
- Performance Evaluation: Conduct regular assessments of team performance, offering constructive feedback and implementing enhancements as needed.
- Operational Management: Supervise daily operations, ensuring all tasks are executed accurately and punctually.
- Safety Compliance: Uphold adherence to health and safety standards within the warehouse environment.
- Issue Resolution: Tackle any challenges or inconsistencies in the warehouse, providing effective solutions swiftly.
- Stock Oversight: Manage inventory control and accuracy, ensuring optimal stock levels are maintained.
- Documentation: Keep detailed records and generate reports on team performance and warehouse activities.
Work Schedule:
- 3 days on, 3 days off
- 6 AM to 6 PM
- Initial training will adhere to this schedule, with potential adjustments thereafter.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in a warehouse supervisory or leadership role.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to inspire and manage a team effectively.
- Exceptional organizational and problem-solving skills.
- FLT Reach license is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts as necessary.
Compensation Package:
- Hourly rate of £13.37
- Overtime compensation at £20.05 per hour
- Possibility of a permanent position following a successful temporary engagement.
