Job Title: Intervention Tutor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Intervention Tutor to join our team at Teaching Personnel. As an Intervention Tutor, you will work with children with Special Education Needs, providing face-to-face support to help them access learning and achieve their desired outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and deliver engaging, nurturing sessions to support children with ASD, SEMH, or PMLD.
  • Develop resources tailored to individual children's needs, focusing on Maths, English, and Science.
  • Manage behavior and implement effective strategies to ensure children remain engaged and motivated.
  • Collaborate with parents and carers to understand children's needs and develop personalized learning plans.
Requirements:
  • Experience working with children with Special Education Needs, preferably in a one-to-one setting.
  • Ability to plan and deliver engaging sessions that cater to individual children's needs.
  • Strong behavior management skills and experience with implementing effective strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with parents and carers.
