**Job Summary**

We are seeking a dedicated and qualified Electrician/Electrical Engineer to join our team as a Lecturer in Electrical Installation at Walsall College. As a key member of our Building Services curriculum area, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning to our students, helping them to unleash their potential and achieve their academic goals.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Develop and deliver engaging and effective teaching plans, schemes of work, and assessment plans to meet the needs of our students.
  • Provide academic and pastoral support to individual students, including participating in interviewing, enrolment, and induction processes.
  • Use information on students' starting points, such as initial assessments, to plan teaching and learning strategies.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum materials and resources.
  • Participate in staff training and development opportunities to enhance your teaching skills and knowledge.

**Requirements**

  • Teaching Qualification (DTLLS, Cert. Ed/PGCE, or equivalent) or a commitment to work towards.
  • Appropriate Electrical qualifications and experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
