Job Title: Indoor Account Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Indoor Account Manager to join our team at DPD Group UK. As an Indoor Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of existing customers, building strong relationships with them, and driving revenue growth through sales and service excellence.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Proactively manage a portfolio of existing customers to ensure their loyalty and retention.
  • Develop and implement account plans to drive revenue growth and meet portfolio targets.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date information on customer accounts via SalesForce and other systems.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, identifying and developing new business opportunities.
  • Monitor and manage customer profitability, ensuring accounts are trading within acceptable levels.
  • Identify and resolve customer problems, ensuring long-term account retention.
  • Complete annual price increases for all accounts within your portfolio.
  • Work with sales teams to accept accounts for handover in line with company policies and trading agreements.
Requirements:
  • Passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and building strong relationships.
  • Demonstrable experience in account management or customer relationship management.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to adapt to change quickly.
  • Good mathematical skills to support pricing and costing for customers.
  • Able to make decisive and effective decisions in a time-pressured environment.
  • High levels of resilience, self-motivation, and flexibility.
  • Knowledge and experience in sales and upselling to existing customers.
  • Attention to detail and good organizational skills.
  • IT literate and proficient in Microsoft Office/Google Suite applications and SalesForce.
  • Able to liaise with customers using telephone and online meeting resources, as well as email.
