Executive - Process Safety Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive to join our Health and Safety department under Responsible Care across the UK chemical sector.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage CIA's Process Safety focus, working closely with our Director of Safety & Security to drive improvement and best practices.
- Provide expert support to CIA member companies, assisting in the production of guidance on safety and process safety issues, and facilitating shared learning and knowledge sharing.
- Manage and coordinate the secretariat function for meetings of allocated UK regional networks, including CIA's Process Safety Network, to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
- Contribute to the promotion of the chemical industry's Responsible Care initiative, working with member companies and supply chains to drive positive change and improvement.
- Support the CIA Responsible Care Verification (RCV) annual programme of visits to member companies, providing expert guidance and assurance.
- Contribute to wider stakeholder communications for chemical sector member companies, ensuring effective engagement and collaboration.
- Proven knowledge and experience of safety and health issues, with a strong track record of developing and implementing effective safety strategies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with businesses and stakeholders.
- Ability to analyze complex data and reports, summarizing key findings and implications for action.
- Strong written and oral communication skills, with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner.
