IPL, a leading sustainable packaging solutions provider, is seeking a motivated and adaptable Accounts Payable Specialist to join our Finance team in Europe. As a key position reporting to the Accounts Payable Manager, you will play a crucial role in processing incoming invoices, maintaining robust supplier statement reconciliation processes, and assisting the finance team with audit preparation.
Key Responsibilities:- Process incoming invoices, including data entry, assignment to approvers, research, and posting/matching
- Maintain a robust supplier statement reconciliation process
- Intercompany reconciliation of AP invoices, including intercompany recharges
- Assist the finance team with sample evidence preparation for audits
- Support annual ABL site and desk audits, reporting regularly to Divisional finance
- Provide holiday cover for the AP role across the division
- Previous accounts payable experience in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to meet targets and deadlines, working under minimal supervision
- Accurate processing of numerical data, with a problem-solving attitude and good knowledge of Excel
