AA Euro Group is seeking a skilled Pipefitter to join our team for the Hinkley Point C Nuclear Power Station Project.
This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the construction of the UK's first-ever 3rd generation nuclear power plant, shaping a sustainable future.
We are looking for a qualified Pipefitter with experience in the manufacture of small and large bore pressure pipe work, as well as experience in the installation of pressure pipe work, superheater headers and vessels.
The successful candidate will have a full apprenticeship in pipefitting or an equivalent qualification (NVQ 3, ACE Card) and hold a CCNSG Safety Passport and ideally IOSH Managing Safety certification.
The role will involve working within the MEH Alliance, collaborating effectively to deliver complex piping and cabling systems.
The Pipefitter will be responsible for fabricating and assembling pipes using specialized tools and techniques, installing and securing piping systems according to strict specifications, testing and inspecting piping for functionality and adherence to standards, and preparing work areas, ensuring safety protocols are followed.
The ideal candidate will have experience of working on TARs, outages, projects, or new builds within an engineering construction site environment, including experience in one or more of the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Thermal or Nuclear sectors.
