Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead fire engineering projects from conception to completion, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.

  • Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure fire safety is integrated into building design and construction.
  • Conduct site visits to monitor fire safety measures and provide technical guidance to site teams.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, architects, and contractors to promote fire safety best practices.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments, regulations, and standards, applying this knowledge to improve fire safety outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in fire engineering, with a focus on complex buildings and high-rise residential blocks.
  • Strong technical knowledge of fire safety principles, regulations, and standards.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to lead teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, architects, and contractors.
  • Proficiency in fire engineering design software, such as Bluebeam.
  • Experience with RIBA stages 1-4 and EWS-1, PAS980.
