Job Title: Accounts Assistant

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Assistant to join our team at Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited. As an Accounts Assistant, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our finance team, ensuring the smooth operation of our financial processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Liaising with customers and taking sales orders over the telephone and email
  • Processing sales orders onto Sage and generating sales invoices
  • Calculating prices and discounts
  • Updating stock levels
  • Credit control and assisting with sales and accounts as required

Requirements:

  • Recent and relevant experience in sales admin, sales ledger, and credit control
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment

What We Offer:

  • A competitive salary and monthly and annual profit-related bonus
  • A full-time, 35-hour per week, office-based role with an earlier finish on a Friday
