Stewardship and Legacies Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as a Stewardship and Legacies Officer. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a prestigious Cambridge College, ensuring that philanthropic donors feel valued and informed of the impact of their giving.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective stewardship strategies to engage and retain major donors.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with donors, ensuring they feel valued and informed of the impact of their giving.
  • Work closely with the development team to identify and pursue new opportunities for philanthropic support.
  • Provide excellent customer service, responding to donor inquiries and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across the College to ensure a cohesive and effective approach to donor engagement and stewardship.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in an administrative, public-facing role, preferably in a similar field.
  • A meticulous eye for detail and a friendly, empathetic nature.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with donors and colleagues.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach.
