Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Counterbalance Forklift Driver to join our team at Stafforce Recruitment. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating a counterbalance forklift to move, load, and unload materials within our warehouse and logistics facility.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate Forklift Safely: Use counterbalance forklifts to load, unload, and transport pallets, containers, and goods within the warehouse and yard areas.
  • Material Handling: Efficiently move stock between designated areas, ensuring correct placement and safe stacking to avoid damage to goods.
  • Loading & Unloading Trucks: Assist with the loading and unloading of delivery vehicles, ensuring that all goods are securely fastened and transported to the correct locations.
  • Inventory Management: Assist in the stock control process, ensuring that all inventory is accurately recorded, and assist with routine stock checks.
  • Pre-operation Checks: Perform daily inspections and maintenance checks on forklifts, reporting any issues or repairs needed to the maintenance team.
  • Adhere to Safety Standards: Follow all health and safety procedures, wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and adhering to company policies.
  • Warehouse Support: Assist with other general warehouse duties as required, including packing, labelling, and organising inventory.

Requirements: To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of warehouse operations and a proven track record of safely operating a counterbalance forklift. You will also need to be able to work effectively in a team environment and have excellent communication skills.
