Job Summary

The Montessori School of Raleigh is seeking a highly qualified Adjunct Spanish Teacher to join our team. As a Spanish Teacher, you will be responsible for leading one section of Spanish ab initio II. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Spanish language and culture, as well as experience in teaching students of various age levels.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that meet the needs of students
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current on best practices in teaching and learning
  • Other duties as assigned by the Dean of Academics or Head of School

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • Minimum five years teaching experience at various age levels
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Committed to the mission and core values of MSR, which include respect, integrity, community, and love of learning
  • Develops and maintains positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents

Preferred Qualifications
