Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Kitchen Assistant to join our team at Go To Outsourcing. As a key member of our care home kitchen team, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality meals to our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation and cooking of meals for 30+ people in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Cater to special dietary requirements and preferences, ensuring that all residents receive nutritious and delicious meals.
  • Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to maintain a clean and organized kitchen, adhering to health and safety standards.
  • Develop and implement new recipes and menu ideas to enhance the dining experience for our residents.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring that all residents feel valued and cared for.

Requirements:

  • 12+ months of experience as a Kitchen Assistant in a care setting.
  • Ability to cook for large groups and work well under pressure.
  • Knowledge of nutrition and ability to cater to special dietary needs.
  • Enhanced DBS clearance (or willingness to apply).
  • Right to work in the UK.
