Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled NLP Quantification Expert to join our team as a NLP Quant Specialist on the systematic desk. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing algorithmic strategies by finding patterns in large, rapidly changing real-world data sets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Apply statistical and machine learning techniques to historical data, predictive signals, and trading strategies
  • Continuously build up a library of machine learning algorithms and related tools to be applied to various facets of the business
  • Rapidly build and refine machine learning models to detect good and bad actors

Requirements

  • Prior experience with advanced statistical or machine learning techniques (time series analysis, NLP, reinforcement learning, supervised and unsupervised learning, graphical models, etc.) is required
  • Must have experience in applying these techniques to very large real-world data sets
  • Candidates with degrees in computer science, math, physics, or another quantitative discipline emphasizing signal processing, prediction, pattern recognition, or machine learning are encouraged to apply
  • Candidates must have the ability to express their ideas in code
  • Outstanding academics with a degree in maths, physics, or possibly computer science with a 1st or equivalent are preferred
  • Prior experience in NLP is a huge plus, even if it is just a relevant internship
