Inventory Management Specialist - Grays

Role Overview

As an Inventory Management Specialist, you will assist the Lead Inventory Planner in ensuring the smooth functioning of the control center and managing all terminal inventory accounting processes, client allocations, and the computerized inventory system. Furthermore, you will coordinate with clients regarding their import requests, negotiating quantities and timelines on a daily basis. This position is based at our Grays Terminal, requiring your presence five days a week from 8 am to 4 pm. Additionally, you will participate in an on-call rotation for any out-of-hours inquiries from clients and the control center.

Candidate Profile

To become a part of our team, you should possess advanced literacy and numeracy skills, along with experience collaborating with diverse individuals across various levels. As an Inventory Management Specialist, meticulous attention to detail is essential.

Success in this role demands the ability to work collaboratively with both internal and external stakeholders, as well as the capacity to perform under pressure while exercising initiative without close supervision.
