We are seeking an experienced Area Sales Engineer to join our team at Rise Executive Search & Recruitment Ltd. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for selling high-quality Industrial Automation products to OEMs, End Users, System Integrators, and Panel Builders across the Teesside area.
Key Responsibilities- Sell a range of Industrial Automation products, including PLCs, Control Gear, Switchgear & Circuit Protection, Variable Speed Drives, Sensors, HMI, and Process Instrumentation
- Develop and maintain relationships with existing customers and identify new business opportunities
- Work closely with the sales team to achieve defined sales targets and develop a personal plan to achieve objectives
- Utilize excellent communication and organizational skills to manage and develop an existing portfolio of accounts
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments to provide expert advice to customers
- Proven track record as a business developer and excellent salesman in the Electrical Control and Automation industry
- Experience in sales and technical roles in the Industrial Automation industry
- Formal qualification in an Electrical/Electronic discipline (ONC/HND or above) or equivalent experience
- Excellent communication, organizational, and team player skills
- Capability with Microsoft packages
