About the Role:

REE is seeking two highly skilled Vehicle Test and Validation Engineers to lead the evaluation, validation, and calibration of our revolutionary test vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive test plans to evaluate vehicle performance and safety.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement test procedures, ensuring compliance with industry standards and OEM specifications.
  • Conduct thorough analysis of test data to identify areas for improvement and optimize vehicle performance.
  • Work closely with the engineering team to develop and implement calibration procedures, ensuring accurate and reliable results.
  • Develop and maintain technical reports to document test results and recommendations for improvement.
  • Travel to proving grounds and worldwide territories as required to conduct testing and validation activities.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree or equivalent in automotive or mechanical engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience in vehicle dynamics or performance testing, preferably in commercial vehicle development.
  • Strong knowledge of international test methods, OEM engineering specifications, and industry standards.
  • Excellent understanding of vehicle instrumentation, data acquisition, calibration, and diagnostic equipment.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment, communicating complex technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and develop effective solutions.
  • Valid UK driver's license and ability to travel as required.
