Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Advanced Paediatric Physiotherapist to join our team at The Portland Hospital in London. As a key member of our Physiotherapy department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients with neurological conditions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients with neurological conditions, including admission assessments, goal-setting, and discharge planning.
  • Provide expert clinical reasoning and specialist intervention to patients, ensuring best practice is applied at all times.
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless care delivery and effective communication.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date treatment records, detailing individual patient treatment plans and progress.
  • Ensure physiotherapy sessions are commenced on time and patients are charged appropriately for their treatment.
Requirements
  • Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
  • Degree in Physiotherapy.
  • Highly specialist experience in Paediatric Neurology and rehabilitation.
  • Experience working within in-patient and out-patient settings within an acute hospital.
  • Experience working across other disciplines within physiotherapy, such as rotations.
