About the Role

We are seeking a Collections Driver to join our team at the Swansea Mail Centre. As a Collections Driver, you will be responsible for delivering mail and parcels to houses and businesses within a set area. You will be the face of Royal Mail in your local community, working flexible hours to deliver outstanding levels of service to our customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Delivering mail and parcels to houses and businesses within a set area
  • Working flexible hours to meet customer needs
  • Providing excellent customer service and ensuring a high level of satisfaction
  • Operating a hand-held computer device to capture customer signatures for deliveries
  • Unloading and sorting mailbags to ensure efficient processing

About You

We are looking for someone who is upbeat and self-motivated, with a strong sense of community. You will be comfortable working alone and as part of a team, and will have a strong customer service focus. You will also need to be physically fit, as the role involves walking and driving.

Requirements

  • A full UK manual driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points
  • A clean driving record is preferred
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
  • Strong customer service skills and a positive attitude
