We are seeking a highly effective Class Teacher to deliver curriculum subjects to students within a specialist school in Braintree.

The school caters to the needs of mixed-sex pupils aged 4 to 19 with a range of needs, including ASD, MLD, SLD, and SEMH. This well-resourced school has a high ratio of student to staff with small class sizes and a curriculum tailored to the needs of the children and young people.

The school provides meaningful, positive, and personalized educational opportunities for dis-engaged pupils who are being prepared to be reintegrated back into mainstream settings. Within this education setting, residential and therapeutic practitioners work together collaboratively to promote students' well-being, encourage resilience, and support their holistic growth.

The school delivers full-time education and covers both academic and vocational subjects in line with national benchmarks. We deliver differentiated teaching and learning activities within small groups in a purpose-built environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver curriculum subjects to students with SEMH needs
