Panel Beater Job Description

Rubber Duck Cars is seeking a skilled Panel Beater to join our Commercial Accident Repair Bodyshop Team in Wolverhampton.

Main Purpose of the Role:

The primary objective of this role is to repair or replace damaged bodywork panels of commercial vehicles in accordance with received instructions or job card details.

Main Tasks:
  • Dismantle and repair damaged vehicles by either repairing the damaged panels or replacing those that are beyond repair.
  • Operate all necessary equipment, including jigs, fixtures, and welding tools, following instructions and adhering to prescribed safety standards.
  • Follow manufacturer's literature and modification bulletins to ensure proper repair and replacement of chassis and panel work.
  • Attend relevant training courses as necessary to stay updated on new techniques and advancements in the field.
  • Handle all vehicles with utmost care and attention, ensuring customer satisfaction and care are always maintained.
  • Keep the company's tools and equipment in a safe, clean, and functional condition.
Requirements:

Preferably with ATA qualification, but not mandatory. Time Served Panel Technicians are welcome to apply.
