Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced research nurse to join our team at NHS Scotland. The successful candidate will work as a member of Professor James Chalmers Respiratory Research Group, conducting world-leading research into chronic lung diseases.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and deliver a portfolio of studies in respiratory medicine, including clinical trials of investigational medicinal products.
  • Provide high-quality care to study participants, adhering to clinical trials regulations, research governance, and ICH Good Clinical Practice.
  • Develop innovative strategies to ensure recruitment on time and to target for studies.
  • Work closely with Investigators, CRC Managers, Research and Clinical Teams in various settings, including hospital inpatient and outpatient settings, and Primary Care.
Requirements
  • Education to degree level or equivalent experience demonstrating knowledge, skills, and ability to perform at the required level.
  • Registration on Sub-part 1: RN1 or RNA or Sub-part 2: RN2 of the UK NMC Register.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with proven ability to be an effective team member.
