Senior Group Financial Accountant

Handle Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Senior Group Financial Accountant to join our client's team in Woking. As a key member of the group finance function, you will play a critical role in delivering accurate consolidated financial information and supporting the Group Financial Manager in meeting financial reporting requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Group Financial Manager in delivering accurate consolidated financial information, compliant with Group finance policies and IFRS.
  • Work closely with the regional finance team, group treasury, and group FP&A to ensure effective financial management.
  • Provide technical accounting expertise and support subsidiary finance teams in meeting their reporting requirements.
  • Develop and maintain the group's consolidation system, Microsoft Cognos Controller, to ensure consistency in reporting and financial controls.
  • Contribute to the production of the annual statutory accounts of all UK subsidiaries (FRS101) and the consolidated annual financial statements and report (IFRS).
  • Assist the Group Financial Manager in ad hoc tasks and investigations, ensuring timely resolution.
Requirements
  • ACA or equivalent qualification with experience working in a group finance function.
  • Multi-currency complex consolidation experience.
  • Strong systems skills in MS Office applications, with advanced Excel.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing.
  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.
Desirable
  • Multi-regional group finance experience.
  • Experience in UK statutory accounts (audit or industry).
