We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Surgical Ward Manager to join our team at Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust. As a key member of our ward management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and contributing to the overall success of our Neuro Rehabilitation Unit.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and manage the nursing team to ensure the delivery of safe and effective patient care.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of ward policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care and effective communication.
  • Monitor and evaluate patient care, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as necessary.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure a positive patient experience.
Requirements:
  • Registered General Nurse with a strong background in neuro rehabilitation.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends, to meet the needs of the ward and patients.
