Job Title: Senior Management Accountant

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Management Accountant to join our luxury Retail company in the UK. As a key member of the finance team, you will be responsible for providing financial leadership and support to various departments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Business Partner across multiple departments to drive financial performance and growth.
  • Ownership of the P&L for cost centres, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Manage monthly accruals and various adjustments to ensure financial accuracy.
  • Maintain the monthly intercompany reconciliations to ensure financial integrity.
  • Monthly payroll adjustments for Casual Workers to ensure compliance.
  • Manage the Clothing Allowance schedule to ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Support budget holders across various departments to prepare budgets and reforecasts.
  • Responsible for the management of two direct reports: Assistant Accountant and Finance Assistant, encouraging development and ensuring improvement of Accounts Payable KPIs.
  • Support the wider Finance team to ensure seamless financial operations.

Requirements:

  • ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or qualified by experience.
  • Retail or FMCG experience.
  • Previous experience working within a fast-paced environment required.
  • Excellent analytical skills.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
