About the Role

We are seeking a self-employed van driver to join our network of independent contractors. As a van delivery driver, you will be responsible for delivering parcels and packages to customers across the UK.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver parcels and packages to customers in a timely and efficient manner
  • Manage your own route and schedule to meet customer demands
  • Ensure all deliveries are made with a high level of customer service
  • Maintain a clean and well-maintained vehicle, including a reversing camera or sensor
  • Comply with all relevant laws and regulations, including health and safety guidelines
Requirements
  • Valid UK driving license with no more than 6 penalty points
  • Personal vehicle insurance that covers the carriage of goods for hire and reward, and emergency breakdown cover
  • Access to a 3.5T long wheel-based van, owned or hired, with a reversing camera or sensor
  • Business insurances, including £5 million Public Liability, £5 million Employers Liability, and £25,000 Goods in Transit
  • Smart appearance and full PPE, including steel-toecap boots
  • Good level of fitness to meet the demands of multi-drop delivery with parcels weighing at least 30kg
  • Ability to pass a basic CRB check and Right to Work checks
