Procurement Administrator

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Administrator to join our team at an award-winning food manufacturing company based in Bilston. As a key member of our procurement team, you will play a vital role in supporting our procurement processes, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and compliance with company policies and regulations.

The Role:

As a Procurement Administrator, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Creating, reviewing, and tracking purchase orders in accordance with procurement policies and procedures.
  • Coordinating with vendors to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
  • Working with our business finance system, Sage, to input purchase orders, create part numbers, and amend prices.
  • Managing the re-ordering process to ensure seamless supply chain operations.
  • Conducting market research on new and alternative suppliers and products to drive business growth and efficiency.
The Person:

We are looking for a highly motivated and organized individual with a strong understanding of procurement processes and best practices. The ideal candidate will have:

  • Previous experience in a similar Procurement/Purchasing Administrator role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with procurement software (Sage).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Proven experience in procurement, purchasing, or related roles.

We offer a competitive salary of £23,920 - £27,000 (negotiable depending on experience), plus a range of benefits, including:
