Job Summary

Bechtel Corporation is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Process Engineer to join our team for a major project in India. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the process engineering team and ensuring the delivery of high-quality process design deliverables.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process Design Leadership: Lead the process engineering team to design and deliver process facilities for a multi-billion-dollar upgrade/expansion of petrochemical facilities in India.
  • Design Review and Oversight: Review and oversee the design of process facilities, including process flow diagrams, utility flow diagrams, and equipment sizing.
  • Technical Expertise: Provide technical expertise and guidance to the process engineering team to ensure that all design deliverables meet the required standards and specifications.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with other discipline engineers and stakeholders to ensure that all interfaces between disciplines are clearly defined and recorded.
  • Project Coordination: Coordinate the detailed design review of the facility and monitor the status of process engineering deliverables to ensure that they are delivered on time and within budget.
Requirements
  • Education: A recognized bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from an accredited college or university.
  • Experience: A minimum of 10 years of experience in process engineering, ideally with a minimum of 5 years in a process engineering leadership role.
  • Skills and Qualifications: In-depth knowledge of Gas Cracker Units (GCU) design and operation, as well as strong technical and leadership skills.

  • Accommodation and Rotation Options: We offer accommodation for you while you are in the country (single or accompanied by spouse) or a single status rotational schedule, where you would mobilize and spend 10 weeks working in the country and then go home to the UK for 2 weeks and so on for the project duration.
