Job Title: Construction Planner

We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Planner to join our team in Uxbridge. As a Construction Planner, you will play a key role in the logistics and planning sequencing of our projects.

About the Role:

As a Construction Planner, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing the pre-construction phase of projects, ensuring efficient and effective planning, scheduling, and coordination of activities.

You will work closely with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to develop comprehensive pre-construction plans that align with project objectives, timelines, and budget constraints.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to develop pre-construction plans, schedules for assigned projects.
  • Coordinate the preparation of project documentation, including scope of work, project schedules, resource plans, and budget estimates.
  • Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, and regulatory authorities to obtain permits, approvals, and relevant information for project planning and development.
  • Monitor and track project progress, milestones, and deliverables against established plans and schedules, identifying deviations and implementing corrective actions as necessary.
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration among project team members, subcontractors, and stakeholders to ensure alignment and integration of pre-construction activities.
Requirements:
  • Qualifications HNC or similar in Civil Engineering, Architecture or related field.
  • Previous experience in pre-construction planning, project management, or related roles within the construction industry.
  • Proficiency in project management software, scheduling tools, and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy, with a commitment to delivering high-quality work within established timelines and budget constraints.
What We Offer:
  • Salary £35,000 - £37,500 plus PAYE package.
  • Office based in Uxbridge, working with a team of 6-8.
  • Some site visits involved, most projects in London. Travel expenses paid for site visits.
  • Working hours (Apply online only).
  • Immediate full-time requirement.
