About the Role

We are seeking a Bank Support Worker to join our team in Weston Super Mare and Banwell. As a Bank Support Worker, you will have the flexibility to choose your shifts and work at times that suit you.

Key Responsibilities

  • To empower the individuals we support to live the lives they want to lead
  • To develop daily living skills and support individuals to access their communities for socialisation, employment, training or friendships
  • To contribute to, develop and implement the individuals' care plans
  • To communicate effectively and professionally with individuals we support, their family members, and external professionals
  • Maintain the health needs of the individuals we support

Requirements

  • Good communication skills
  • A positive and patient approach
  • Resilience and respect for people's differences
  • Ability to build professional relationships
  • Ability to work well as part of a team

Benefits

  • Sleep-ins paid at £60 extra (basic salary £11.68 per hour)
  • Full training to gain the nationally recognised Care Certificate
