About the Role

We are seeking an experienced counterbalance FLT driver to join our team at SUEZ in Bodmin, Cornwall. As a key member of our recycling operations, you will play a vital role in helping us deliver innovative and environmentally responsible solutions for water and waste management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate a counterbalance forklift truck to feed raw materials and load out sorted bales of recovered material.
  • Assist with the resolution of plant stoppages and blockages.
  • Carry out quality sampling checks and housekeeping duties in line with our 5's lean objectives.
  • Work with customers to maximise reduce, reuse, and recycle of waste materials produced at the site.
  • Control the exchange of containers and maintain a safe and tidy site.

Requirements

  • A valid counterbalance forklift truck license.
  • An excellent level of customer service and teamwork.
  • A flexible approach to work and a safety conscious attitude.
  • Previous experience in the waste industry or high-volume production processes is an advantage.
