Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and prepare for incoming deliveries from vendors.
  • Receive and inspect goods from suppliers to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Guide and inspire a small team, offering support and direction.
  • Efficiently manage the loading and unloading of shipments.
  • Evaluate and enhance the arrangement of product storage as necessary.
  • Handle documentation and accurately record received items.
  • Conduct regular inventory audits and assessments.
  • Utilize the warehouse management system for effective inventory tracking.
  • Coordinate with various departments regarding inventory status and discrepancies.
  • Continuously assess and improve warehouse space utilization.
  • Minimize picking errors through precise product labeling and barcoding.
  • Establish and meet performance benchmarks for the receiving department.
  • Implement robust inventory management and control strategies.
  • Perform general warehouse responsibilities as needed.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Experience in a warehouse receiving environment.
  • Prior experience in team leadership.
  • Proficient in computer usage.
  • Strong ability to multitask.
  • Hands-on approach to all responsibilities.

  • Bendi and counterbalance licenses are desirable (training available).
