Position Overview

We are seeking a Financial Control Lead to join our dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities

In your role as Financial Control Lead, you will be responsible for your team's performance and the execution of daily tasks. You will establish performance metrics that foster a culture of data integrity and quality. Additionally, you will develop control frameworks and governance structures that align with our strategic objectives, ensuring compliance with operational models and process architecture principles.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting product control activities and ensuring the timely delivery of all assigned tasks within reporting cycles.
  • Reviewing month-end processes for all product-related activities across the organization.
  • Engaging in strategic initiatives to drive organizational success.
  • Promoting a culture of continuous improvement within your team.
  • Ensuring comprehensive substantiation and reconciliation of balance sheets and profit and loss accounts within a controlled environment, while understanding key business drivers.
  • Establishing and managing internal controls, developing a robust control framework, and ensuring compliance with relevant policies.
  • Implementing strong analytical procedures for balance sheet and profit and loss accounts.
Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess substantial experience in a financial services setting or within medium to large corporations. You should have a proven track record of leading, motivating, and managing a small to medium-sized team, with experience in global operations being advantageous.

We are looking for candidates with:

  • A relevant professional qualification and expertise in accounting.
  • Commercial acumen and experience in driving business process improvements in complex environments.
  • The capability to implement operational models and strategic changes effectively.
  • Experience with key financial technologies, such as Oracle and its modules, as well as reporting tools like Tableau or Python.
  • A demonstrated ability to cultivate a positive team culture and explore multiple pathways to achieve objectives.
