About the Role

Lidl is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a District Manager. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for managing a district of stores, ensuring a positive and motivated work environment, and driving business growth through effective collaboration and strategic planning.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a district of stores, including line management of Store Managers
  • Develop and implement annual business plans for the district
  • Analyse and optimise stock movements to drive efficiency and profitability
  • Support the implementation of company strategy in the district
  • Oversee store refurbishments, new openings, and re-openings
  • Complete regular cash management checks and district tours with the Sales Executive
  • Support projects through analysis and provision of feedback

Requirements

  • Minimum of a 2.1 degree in any discipline or a minimum of three years management experience
  • Excellent communication, planning, organisation, and analytical skills
  • A full clean driving licence
  • Organised, flexible, motivated, and a hard-working leader
  • Previous experience in a fast-paced environment
  • Proven ability to motivate and lead a team
