We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join our multidisciplinary design team in our Water Technologies and Modular Build division. As a key member of our team, you will play a leading role in aspects of projects from scoping and detailed design to implementation, ensuring compliance with Client Specifications and current regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee design aspects of projects from inception to implementation.
- Ensure compliance with Client specifications and current regulatory standards.
- Develop design deliverables.
- Complete checking and approval processes.
- Arrange procurement of goods and services.
- Prepare work scope estimates/quotations.
- Assemble contract works information documents.
- Consider project health and safety, quality, and environmental matters.
- Liaise with all key stakeholders for the projects.
- Implement project change control and programme requirements.
- Take responsibility as Design Lead on allocated projects.
- Degree/HND/HNC in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- Experience of working in a multidiscipline design team.
- Experience of working at all design stages is highly desirable.
- Design management experience is highly desirable.
- Possess the ability to work on multiple projects consecutively.
