We are seeking a dedicated and passionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at Clarus Education Ltd. As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting children with Special Educational Needs in our Primary School.
Key Responsibilities- Assist teaching staff in planning and preparing lessons and resources within the school curriculum.
- Prepare and make resources for teaching and therapy staff.
- Reinforce targets throughout the school day.
- Support students within the class and during unstructured situations.
- Support teaching and therapy staff in maintaining detailed case notes of all children seen.
- Produce and maintain up-to-date pupils' profiles and behaviour plans.
- Follow school procedures in reporting incidents and safeguarding concerns.
- Act as a resource and support for other staff members working with the children.
- Participate in supervision and support as required.
- Maintain continuous professional development.
- Level 2 or 3 TA qualification or equivalent.
- Current DBS or willingness to obtain one.
- Enthusiasm for working with children with differing needs and abilities.
- Previous experience of providing high-quality provision for pupils.
- Knowledge of the National Curriculum.
- Keenness to be involved in all aspects of school life.
- Proven track record of good working relationships and professionalism.
- Commitment to professional development and lifelong learning.
