Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced 7.5 ton HGV driver to join our team at The Recruitment Co. as a key member of our logistics operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate a 7.5 ton HGV in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all relevant regulations and company policies.
  • Ensure timely delivery of goods and materials to clients, meeting all relevant deadlines and schedules.
  • Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, reporting any defects or issues to the maintenance team.
  • Maintain accurate records of vehicle usage, fuel consumption, and mileage.
  • Collaborate with other drivers and logistics staff to ensure smooth operations and efficient use of resources.

Requirements

  • Hold a valid C1 entitlement on a full UK driving licence.
  • Have a clean driving licence, with a good driving record.
  • Be physically fit and able to work in a demanding environment.
  • Be available to work a standard Monday to Friday schedule, with occasional overtime as required.
