Job Purpose
The successful candidate will play a vital role in the project Teaching English Multilingually through Art (TEMA), collaborating closely with Dr. Lavinia Hirsu (Principal Investigator) and Dr. Dobrochna Futro (Co-Investigator).

As a key member of the research team, you will significantly contribute to achieving the project's research goals.

This position requires expertise in multilingual education, innovative artistic practices, and the creation of educational materials for language acquisition.

The ideal candidate will assist in the formulation of educational resources for the project and will participate in the design and production of project-related publications and reports.

Main Duties and Responsibilities: The following tasks will be performed in collaboration with the Principal Investigator and Co-Investigator as appropriate: 1. Lead the planning and creation of assigned educational materials, assuming responsibility for a key component as necessary, in alignment with the project objectives and the overarching research strategy of the School/College/University. 2. Document and publish research findings and other project outcomes for appropriate dissemination. Maintain comprehensive records and databases, draft progress reports, and prepare academic papers as needed. 3. Build and uphold a personal research profile and reputation, as well as that of the School/College/University. Establish a consistent record of independent and collaborative publications of international caliber in esteemed refereed journals, enhancing the research impact in terms of societal and economic benefits, while identifying opportunities for knowledge exchange. 4. Conduct a thorough review of the research literature and environment, comprehend the research challenges related to the project and subject area, and develop/implement an effective research and dissemination strategy. 5. Present research findings at national and international conferences, as well as at internal and external seminars, colloquia, and workshops to elevate the research profile of the School/College/University. 6. Take a proactive role in fostering and maintaining collaborations with colleagues across the project and within the broader community (including academic and other partners). 7. Engage in personal, professional, and career development to enhance both specialized and transferable skills in line with your career aspirations. 8. Undertake any other duties of equivalent standing as assigned by the Principal Investigator. Knowledge, Qualifications, Skills and Experience Knowledge/Qualifications Essential A1 A PhD or equivalent professional qualifications and experience, demonstrating evidence of personal development in a similar role.
A2 Specialized theoretical and practical knowledge in multilingualism and/or creative design methodologies.

A3 Adequate breadth and/or depth of knowledge in the specialist subject and of research methods and techniques relevant to the field.

Desirable B1 Familiarity with project-specific data sources B2 Proficiency in relevant specialist IT software Skills Essential C1 Ability to analyze and organize resources to effectively manage time and workload.

C2 Research creativity and strong collaborative skills across disciplines as appropriate C3 Knowledge of document design and development of educational materials C4 Ability to communicate complex or highly technical information effectively, both orally and in writing, including public presentations.

C5 Proven initiative and judgment to independently resolve problems and/or work as part of a team. Experience Essential E1 Significant relevant research experience in applied linguistics, literacy, and/or creative arts.

This is a fixed-term, part-time position, with a total of 120 hours to be completed over a specified period.
